Answer #1

When conducting a clinical interview, history is important for a mood disorder like anxiety as it helps us in the diagnosis of the mental condition. For example, a person may be nervous, undergoing fight or flight response; if his worries are temporary and there his body releases a small amount of epinephrine However a sustained worry for a long time may be anxiety due to an overload of adrenaline, having disastrous effects on our mental and physical health.
