Answer #1

When a person becomes a guest at the hotel? Is the moment when customers make the reservation at the hotel place or the moment when they walk into the lobby to the reception? The major customer believes in the fact that the hotel will communicate regarding the reservation. The customer becomes a guest the moment he clarifies he is going to stay and do make his presence available. Guests will check-in have communication in order to interact with hotel staff while on the premises. This is the moment when a person is deemed to be a guest. Or in simple language, we can say the moment customers enter the premises and communicate became the guest. That is the first point of touch. Because it is the point from where a guest can become your regular customer. The way he is being treated to the way his querries are being handled and the service which he gets determines his further action. Hence a customer becomes guest the moment he enters the hotel. Check-in process starts when a customer clears that he will have a stay there and arrives. But before that only he becomes one of the prospect guests the moment the communication start which mostly happens online on media, text, emails.
