Sexuality and gender are two different constructs. Sexuality is the person sexual orientation, that is the person that they are attracted to. So a person's sexuality can be homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual and so on. Sexuality education has recently been added to curriculums in schools. It is an important part of education as it provides student a tool of introspection to help grasp certain emotions that few students might be experiencing that might be confusing at first. This can provide them with the helping hand.

Sexual education can be introduced when the individuals have reached the age of 16 as this is when they have the emotional maturity to understand such concepts and rightfully identify. This can be included in the general sex education classes that have been made mandatory by many schools.
