When you are faced with choosing between several valid options, how do you typically make your decision?
When I am faced with a situation where I need to choose one of the many possible options available, I prefer to check out which particular option will give me the best possible output, given the constraints and that this option affects minimum number of people possible. But it's my benefit that comes first.
How do you think managers typically choose between several options?
Managers are also human beings and definitely they have some priority in their professional and personal life. Some of the factors they may choose while making a decision include, personal benefit, professional growth, employee benefit, meeting KPIs, ease of work etc.
What are the similarities between your decision process and what you think managers do?
While most managers think it short term, I prefer to think long term. Suppose I have two employment offer letter at hand and I have to choose between the two, my preference will be one where my job doesn't bore me, I get to do something different, I have the opportunity to grow as per my career plan. While for most, I have seen that, they prefer salary, ease of work, how often can they go home on time. Very few have the ambition of doing something great. They are more concerned about how much growth they will get, even if the job is inferior to the current one.
