Answer #1

When we have a summer intern in our Organization, it is a cost-saving way to check for the intern’s competencies and suitability to the Organization’s needs and achievement of goals. Hence, based on SWOT analysis, my strategy would be that I need to check if the intern’s return to the organization is relatively more than that of any potential employee whom we may hire from outside. If the return expected from such an intern surpasses than the efforts that we would have to take to carry recruitment drive otherwise, then I would choose to hire the summer intern for my organization after being convinced of the intern’s potential with the help of SWOT and Return-on-Investment analysis, else reject the intern if the returns are lesser than our investment so planned.
