Quality improvement program needs some barriers to be caused . Employees might oppose the program in fear of facing new tasks or loosing their jobs. Quality improvement might need more investment for wastemanagement and other tasks. Methods such as six sigma and lean needs to be applied which will also need investment.

The need to develop paves way for the need to improve the quality and hence these quality improvement program is initiated. Once necessary investment are made methods such as lean will enable the firm to reduce wastage and improve quality . The employees also needs to be trained and explained on the new changes so that they also will help in the process.
