Quality improvement collaborative in healthcare it means a group performance including stakeholders doctors nurses health care teams other paramedical team and administration staff for the purpose of improvement of the quality or to achieve preset goals.

By practising quality improvement organisation has great benefit from this following quality improvement plan it helps in the patient and staff

For example in hospital if they are maintaining different parameters for different procedure and performance .for example by assessing risk for bed sore , assessment risk of fall , IV injection site assessment it helps to identify any possible cause of incidence and we can take a precautionary measures in the beginning

If a patient is admitted in hospital it is important to assess the patient based on the quality improvement plan we should have a criteria for each procedure and performance like bed sore assessment they have to make a checklist in this checklist we should have some point including age sex mobility status dependency ,use walking aids this all are the criteria, based on this criteria we will evaluate scoring for this patient if the patient has high score for fall risk,we should take extra precaution to prevent incident of bedsore by providing adequate position change ,back massage and regular evaluation of the the body parts these all are the collectively we call quality improvement

Second example if a patient is admitted in hospital and the patient has improper gait and difficulty in walking consider the patient has old age so the patient fall risk will be high based on our criteria so we have to take initial measures based on this quality improvement plan like provide side rail assist the patient while walking keep the patient in a law level but position give calling bell arrange the articles near to the patient these are the quality measures that we can take to prevent incident of fall based on quality improvement plan .it effective for the patient and staff for patient it reduces the cost and reduce the hospital stay for the staff patient is getting recovered immediately and can prevent complication.
