From a management perspective, what do you feel are the greatest challenges associated with interpreting and understanding the American Indian viewpoint and culture

The American Indian viewpoint and culture suggests that

• People are dedicated to their work
• They will take additional effort than recommended or asked for
• They keep that level of expectation from others.
• They take leaves which are different than the masses

So as per the management there are pros and cons, they are easy to drive for individual goals and are highly motivated, but when the work as a team might become culturally less fit, they might want others to work harder and at time might make people uncomfortable.

They expect others to do more and need not be the organizational culture, hence there could be conflicting approaches which could demotivate many employees and add to the confusion of working. So how to put the standard practices in place so that the best of each is to be used is the greatest challenge. And how to balance personal and team goals is a key area to focus on.
