Best Practice to prevent ULP’s

Homework Answers

Answer #1

ULP (Unfair Labour Practice)

This comes under a law made by the national labor relations act. In this law any organization having more than two employees comes under this law and they need to comply with all kinds of behaviors created and listed by the act. Employees can file a report against the other party when they broke the law and do not behave as directed.

Now let us discuss how these ULP`s can be prevented.

  • The organization should have the practice to avoid such conditions in which the employees are being threatened by the management or administration of the organization which is truly an unfair labor practice. They should always have proper communication between them which will help them understand each other's situation and take necessary actions to resolve the issue.
  • The organization should avoid practicing in which they are monitoring their employees in such a way that they are getting into their personal space which is truly unethical for the employer and they should always monitor the work they do for the organization and rest should be private for the employee.
