Using control processes can really make a workplace
better by reducing the need for management oversight. If the
employees clearly know what they need to achieve, the manager will
likely not have to micromanage.
If you were going to help an organization implement control
processes, how would you do it? State the steps you would take and
provide specific examples of what measures you would implement in
two different departments.
Micromanaging can comes in many forms but mostly micromanging means a boss ask for all the details about our day to day office wor routine from task to updates .It involves a thin line between leadership & micromanging.Ya if management are aware of their reposnsiblities there is no need of control process in the organisation.Many bosses feel the need to monitor efficiency to keep on track ,especially if has failed in past.but micormanager do so out of a need to cntrol often lead to do more with them than the performance of an employees which lead to more fear of insecurity & failure.And other emp;oyees feeel as they dont know about it and where not suitable for the particular role of the job or was not properly trained.
The steps which you can take to control the micro managing
Make sure he is supervising the things which you have not asked for.
Find out if he is the same with all the employees in the organsaition and not only you.
One need to do their job well and do ask how are you doing instead of asking your friends family and cursing over it,talk directly to the boss about what you feel.
Be true too you job and do your job well
Be a good proactive communicator
Tell her to delegate you what work she need to be done from you instead of hovering with lot of mails.
All the department should be managed seprately.All work should be given properly to the employees and one should give them and give proper information how to go about.
Do ask about the full information to the boss about teh details need to do a particular work.
