Training can be imparted to increase various sets of skills, knowledge and abilities among the employees. An effective training program can be developed by considering the following items,

1) Schedule of training

2) Contents/Material to be delivered

3) Class room setting/ambience

4) Training aids like audio, video aids

5) Creating a learning environment

According to Kirkpatrick model, Training effectiveness can be measured on the following parameters:

1) Reaction: It will be the response of the trainees towards training program.

2) Learning: It will be trainee's involvement in acquiring skills, knowledge and abilities.

3) Behaviour: To what extent, trainees displayed the attitudinal and behvirol changes.

4) Results: To what extent, desired results were obtained through training program.
