Ans- Culture of the organization is important for the following reasons which are given below-

  • An organization culture will say how employees behave or work in an organization as when the culture is good one employees give their best and try to achieve their organizational goals and thus the productivity level of the organization increases. Also, they behave well with other people, develop good relationships and create healthy competition among their co-workers.
  • Positive culture also gives a good working environment and people like to work in a good work environment and thus it becomes easy to retain the best employees as it does not matter how much money a company is paying, an employee will leave the organization if the work environment is not good.
  • Employees feel proud to be associated with such companies where the culture is a good one and thus spread the good name of the company with others.
  • The culture of a company says about its policies and guidelines to follow while being at work and thus it gives direction to the employees to work accordingly. Every employee knows what are their roles and responsibilities and how to achieve them on time.
  • Culture is the identity of an organization. A good or bad organization will be decided by its culture only. Customers, Stakeholders, Suppliers, Employees like to be associated with such an organization where the work culture is good and they treat employees with respect and are doing things ethically.
