What is the most effective way for you to learn?

I am, overall, good at learning through a variety of different methods. I have recently discovered that I do well with self teaching as well as "hands on" methods of learning. I have never done well learning in a didactic setting as this seems to constrain the imagination piece that enhances my learning. Self-teaching, usually through reading, PowerPoint, or pre-recorded video allows me to incorporate the ability to further search topics as opposed to continued, fast paced, forced information.

If the lack of knowledge is a barrier to you, how can you acquire the knowledge you need to be successful in school and in life?

In the event that a lack of knowledge is creating a barrier in obtaining my goals, I can acquire the needed knowledge by taking courses as well as utilizing the internet to research the necessary information. I have also had success in the past reaching out to mentor-figures for further information to enhance and broaden my knowledge-base. There are an abundance of tools available to me to utilize to constantly enhance my knowledge.
