Answer #1

Answer. Two functions of management which are critical for an FBO manager in day to day operations are as follows:

1. Controlling: Controlling as the FBO manager in day to day opertions is very difficult job, because they have to tackle the most challenging work problems, whether it has to do with dissatisfied customers, accounting issues etc. on the daily basis. So, it become difficult for them control to each and everything happening in the airport premises.

Example :If their are disgruntled customers, then FBO managers has this duty to resolve their dissatisfaction and control their anger by providing satisfactory answers

2. Leading: FBO manager has leading power with them .So ,it becomes difficult for them to lead whole department on regular basis. Because if any disagreement happens between managers and employees than that may result in formation of negative relation within airport primes, wastage of time and reduced productivity.

Example: If a employee under supervision of FBO manager is not performing well then manger can rectify his mistakes by providing correct measures because he already have several years of experience working in aviation but this can become ego issue for employee which can result in negative relation formation .So, leading is also not easy task for manager.
