Employee absenteeism is a big problem for employers. What ways does your employer reward good attendance and correct poor attendance? Does it work? Why or why not?

Answer #1

Yes, the employee being absent from the work is a bad situation. It becomes worst sometimes when people are absent without prior approved leaves. So unplanned leaves and sick leaves create a lot of trouble for the companies.

At the same time, leaves can’t be denied and leaves are to be taken but the employee should avoid taking unplanned leaves and sudden leaves.

In order to boost this good practice, an employer can have some reward system like rewarding the employee who has no unplanned leaves in a quarter and in the same series company should value 2 to 3 employee every quarter.

Yes It does work as in the desire of having quarterly rewards people will start avoiding unplanned leaves and hence attendance at workplace will be improved
