Based on the work done so far in my career I am listing the
following areas I was responsible for in my current
workplace.
Main areas of responsibilities are:
• Assist the Vertical Head of Engineering and Special projects and
acts as an executive assistant to him handling all his project
management activities.
• Lead and coordinate team for process definition discussions.
Activities include understanding existing process, identifying key
performance areas, meeting the stakeholders, defining new standard
operating procedures, propose new changes, implement and handover
to respective operations team.
• Implementation of Quality Management System based on ISO
9001.
• Do goal setting with the team and ensure effective and measurable
reviews and feedback mechanisms (Material Resource Management,
Operations-review, dashboards)
• Design MIS report schema and analytics format.
• Assist in six sigma projects.
• Design performance metric dashboard for MAM portfolio.
• Part of digitization and metatagging project across all regions
for 1 lack plus hours of content. Define strategic process and SOP
and prioritize monthly schedule for vendors.
• Develop strategic model for project planning and resource
utilization.
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners (Domestic and
international) to implement the processes.
• Contribute and present in client/customer reviews/meetings.
• Ensuring product quality.
• Driving customer Impact Projects.
• Driving inputs from VOC/ CSAT for improvements
• Vendor management.
Detailed Scope of work included:
• Discuss and finalize the Standard Operating procedures and new
processes.
• Create User Requirement Documents for new processes.
• Contribute new innovative ideas to improve existing
process.
• Streamline and automate existing process with least
downtime.
• Develop mathematical model for solution and optimization of
resources and planning.
• Design trackers for project tracking.
• Define KPI metrics for designing new dashboard.
• Define MIS report schema.
• Coordination with various vendors for connectivity across
Production House, Kiosk and Worli Head Office.
• Coordination with Programming team across Zee tv and & tv
channel for connectivity solution.
• Coordination with Operations team for User Acceptance Testing and
provide feedback to the IT team and developers to improve the
portal.
• Testing the end to end workflow on behalf of Operations team,
Programming team and Production Houses for improving efficiency and
reducing the issues.
• Coordinate and help in implementation of MDM Node server across
production houses.
• Suggest ways to improve productivity by VA/NVA analysis.
• Prepare workflows on behalf of management.
• Incorporate feedbacks from consulting partner E & Y.
Key Projects handled
Process definition and mapping
- Discuss, identify and define the processes in operations. Hold
meeting with key stakeholders for identifying areas of
improvement.
- Suggest new methods of streamlining existing processes. Document
and create workflow of the processes.
- Create RFP and help in identifying partner for respective
processes. Hold workshops and meeting with partners, vendors and
internal teams to implement the reengineered processes.
- Assist in Six sigma projects for process improvements
Implementation of Quality Management System
- Currently in study phase to understand the internal process in
detail.
- Expected to complete the QMS in time period of 2 years from
initiation
- Document control phase is underway simultaneously
Process Standardization
- Document process of all internal teams
- Benchmark study of relevant industries and organizations to
identify key areas of improvement
- Propose improvement areas to higher authorities, prepare project
plans and follow up on implementation procedures
DAM Implementation: Project ZOE
- Prepare SOP, Integration documents, and assist in finalizing
project plan
- Assist in capacity planning, migration strategy
- Define Critical areas in project implementation
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholder with regards to
handover to project team
Digitization and Metatagging project
- Part of the team that lead the digitization of 1 lakh plus hours
of content. Create project plan, identify key areas, identify
vendors, create priority based digitization schedule for all
regions across India.
- Create tracker for digitization across all regions.
- Coordinate with partner to develop metatagging approval system
for all regions. Few metatagging vendors are international.
- Create RFP, meet vendors, create sampling structure and
document.
