Give an example of Laissez-faire leadership style (in your life, college, work, business). Did it work? Could a different style have worked better? How did the people involve feel?
Laissez-faire leadership can be seen as a leadership style which is completely based on the mutual trust between the leader and followers. Leaders are available to provide guidance and required resources to the followers when it is required.
Example:- My current manager is a typical epitome of Laissez-faire leadership. He is very supportive and cooperative Whenever any employee has any issue, the manager always help him with a smile and once the issue is solved, he takes a feedback about the process and thus it inculcates the confidence in the employee.
It is a really excellent way of managing people in my organization as people have expertise and experience of doing things, they only need a support and direction. We all feel quite motivated and enthusiastic about the job as we have thee assurance that our manager will always support us if we have some issue in doing the job.
