Answer #1

Group thinking is a practice of thinking or making decisions as a group , resulting typically unchallenging , poor decisions making and faliure to bring desirable outcome.

example :

I was little confusiion to take appropriate decision regarding carrier that what should do M.ed or M.A in education though both are almost same but have diffrent prospective. Then I have started to group thinking with number of people for taking their valuable opinion and advise.

step-2

Independently i could not take any decisions .i needs collective approch to take amd select best one decision.Group member just made effort to minimize conflict and reach a consensus decision without any critical evaluation of alternative view points .so irrational and dysfuntional decision making outcome are resulted.

step-3

group thinking never contribute in good decision making .Rather than it crecreates more confusion by given diffrent opinion of diffrent Group members. It can be avoided following way

1. Plan for it , risk plan should monitor and reduce emerging group thinking.

2.look for those who different personalities and diffrent thinking capablities.

3.even I have concerned with diffrent field experties for carrier guudence .so they are not influennce group ideas and gives a independent ideas.

4. It's takes time .quick decision always Iead to poor decisions making .so proper time should be alloted to avoided group thinking.
