Are there any scenarios in which employees of a company have zero responsibility for the behavior of their company? What are examples of situations where we could say that an employee is not responsible in any way? Is it ever really true that there is nothing an employee can do about the behavior of their company? Elaborate.
As long as an employee is not involved in decision making process i.e. as long as he/she is not in leadership positions he/she will not be responsible for the behaviour of the company. This is true as long as the company is ethical and fair in its business. If the company for example gets involved in an unfair business practice and an employee does nothing about it and willingly participates in it, he/she too will be responsible for the behaviour of the company. It is his/her social responsibility to report any unethical practices of the company. However, one caveat is that he/she might lose their source of income. So, the employee might choose to keep silent on the issue. There is very little probability that he would get into trouble for keeping silent unless he is in a management position or directly involved with something unfair or unethical.
