1. How long the patient is taking the same medicine

2. Name the medication, it's action and side-effects. This is to check the understanding about the medication

3. Assess the Blood pressure before administration of drug.

4. Inform the side-effects of drug and ask the patient to report if he develops any symptoms

5. Ask about LMP if the patient is female as the ACE inhibitors are contraindicated in pregnancy

6. Do you have any uneasiness while changing the posture suddenly. Please get up slowly or change the posture very slowly to avoid postural hypotension

7. Do you have your meal ? When?. Provide drug either in empty stomach or 1 or 2 hours after food

8. How is your urine output?

The nurse should monitor the Blood pressure before and after the administration of drug
