  • Creating awareness on the availability of generic drugs and encouraging the healthcare providers to prescribe it.
  • In case drug is imported which is the cause for high cost .In that case generic drugs is the best available sources then the brand drug availability
  • Setting up pharmaceutical industry to reduce the cost of a drug.
  • To provide prescription coupons for discounts
  • Government bearing the cost of life saving drugs
  • Encouraging people to pay for the drugs which are available in brand name.
  • In simple there should be transparency in the drug costs
