Yes I do agree with statement that nurses are heart of the hospital because in any hospital there are more nurses than the doctors as they are the ones who are taking care of the patients. Every patient needs proper nursing care besides the medical treatment. Nurses take care of their medications, daily regime. Patients also need the mental support and need someone to talk to the family is not present. All these roles are played by the nurse. They are the one that notify the doctors about each and every condition of the patient. They also notice if condition is worsening of the patient as they have medical knowledge and can also change the dosage of the medication when required. So, as the body can not function without heart, a hospital can not function without nurse. That is why nurse are often called heart of the hospital.
