effect, the client refuses to take the medication.

a. How would you feel about taking a major antipsychotic
(neuroleptic) agent, realizing the many side effects that these
medications can cause?

b. For psychoactive medications to be effective, client adherence is
essential. How would you respond to a client who continually fails
to follow his or her medication regimen?

(a) :- This is very challenging to take anti psychotic drug rather than they will cause many side effects. But these are the only drugs which are help to treat a patient. These are direct act on patient's behaviour & his belief system. So these drugs very important.

(B) :- If a patient continually fails to follow his medication m, i will counsel the patient & try to explain him about the importance of the drugs for his treatment & his better future life. I will also tell him about technics to remember the medicines.like alarm method.
