Answer: The Contingency Leadership Phase includes that the leaders action varies according to the circumstances. It means that the leadership methods change according to the situation. It is based on the assumptions that there is no model situation to act as a leader, the leader need to adjust themselves according to the situation.

. It means that they might be successful in one situation and may not in the other situation. According to this theory, the individual can be a better leader sometimes and sometimes ineffective.

In this the leader and team member relationship deals with the group of environment as well as with the feelings such as loyalty, trust or the confidence that the members have for their leader.

This phase is still relevant at present because leaders faces different kinds of situation and circumstances. So, this need to be implemented and the leaders need to indulge themselves in various methods to improve the quality of care provided.
