Robert Blake and Jane Mouton came up with their managerial grid or what is also called as Leadership grid defined high concern for people and high concern for the task as a Team Management which falls on-axis (9, 9).

Blake and Mouton termed team management as the most effective style of leadership wherein the leader feels that empowerment, respect, the climate of trust and respect are positively related with the high performance and if these things are guaranteed, they will automatically lead to high-production and high employee satisfaction.
