he exact cause is still unknown but it is found out in a few research that it is related to genetic factors, obesity and hypertension. The research study says that black people are more prone to get obesity and hypertension. Also found out chages in the variants which is present near the gene protein called thrombomodulin. Thrombomodulin is help in maintaining or prevent blot clot. It is found to have have decrease the number of thrombomodulin in black people having PE. So it is believe that it may transfer from parents to their offspring.
