The pathophysiology of lung cancer is complex the lung cancer develops from the variety of factors like cigarettes smoking environmental pollutants and carcinogens capable of genetic mutations.

Clinical manifestations of lung cancer are cough, chestpain, shortness of the breath, weight loss and loss of appetite, tiredness and wheezing.

Diagnostic tests for the detection of lung cancer:

X-ray imaging

Sputum cytology.

Tissue sample (biopsy)

Along with the above some recommended tests include CT, MRI, positron emission tomography (PET) & bone scans

At last its true that there are some pathological connection between asthma and allergies as s factors are common for both cases. Allergic symptoms are due to allergents and asthma is the hyperresponsiveness of tracheobroncheal tree.

Also both have same manifestations like cough and shortness of the breath
