The power of nursing means the ability or capacity to achieve desired goals.

The nursing helps every nurse to develop their skills and knowledge , personal development etc.

Through nursing education the nurse will acquire adequate knowledge by learning and practicing and by previous experiences.

Through continuous practice she will become a skilled nurse or an expert in her profession.

Every institutions will provide adequate facilities to train their nurses to attain effective outcomes

A standard quality client care is needed to attain the goals.

The nurses are fully empowered leaders.

They have adequate knowledge skills and experience.

For example. :- A new nurse joined in a hospital. she is not having any previous experience.

she will try to study things from other nurses.

She will observe all others and will acquire knowledge and skills through observation and practice.

In every setting a senior or experienced nurse is there.

She will use powers to improve the delivery of quality care and thus also enhances the profession.

The powerful and skilled people will influenced by the new nurse and she will start to learn and modify her behaviour.

- Through learning she also helps others to change.

A powerful nurse will be able to control the setting and able to achieve goals.

A powerful nurse will be able to provide knowledge.

She is an expert in every aspects like knowledge, skills etc.

She have a good position in the society.

Have a high degree of self confidence.

She will be able to explain every aspects in detailed and have the power to give corrections to others.

She will be able to punish others for their mistakes.

A good empowered nurse will have the power to control every thing.

Good empowerment involves good open communication and mutual goal settings and decision making.

If any problems occurs the health care team members will discuss the problem and make solutions to overcome it.

Through inservice or continuing educational training programmes the knowledge and skills    is increasing and improving.

The advanced machines and other facilities helps to provide good standard care.

The nurses are fully empowered and they are self sufficient to meet their goals. .
