The microbiology mainly focus on the pathogens and microbes that may cause infection. So, by preventing the spread and transmission of the infection among patients, nurse can deliver quality of care to them.

Microbiology mainly deals with the microbes and study of the pathogens. It is also indulge in the preventive methods. So, in the nursing practice proper hygiene is important. To maintain a good and clean environment is necessary. The equipments and instruments used in the assessment of the patient should be cleaned to eliminate the risk of presence of the microbes. The use of gloves and PPE kit is important to prevent the infection transmission. Hence these mistakes should be avoided during the treatment and assessing patient.
