ANSWER.
1.
Post hip replacement:- This is the surgery made to replace full hip joint(total hip arthroplasty) in case of damage or worn-out hip.
Primary concerns for post hip replacement patient:-
* Get down of bed and walk short distances frequently upto 300 feets.
* Sit and eat healthy meals.
* Perform simple exercises,etc.
This are some common and primary concerns of post hip replacement.
I assess that by following this steps the patient can stay safe and avoid hip pains,stay healthy.
Interventions:-
The person may feel discomfort,unable to move body and leg, abnormal rotation, etc. The nurse should interfere here and provide some care and should introduce care plan for prevention of complications that includes taking healthy diets, exercises and walking, etc. That is because healthy diet may make the person stronger, exercises can help in moving their body parts and walking helps in moving legs, etc.
2.
* The patient should avoid NSAIDs before surgery because that can leads to blood clotting which can cause heavy blood loss while surgery.
* The patient should take aspirin 10 days before surgery to prevent peri-operative ischaemic events without heavy bleeding.
* Antihyperglycemics and immunosuppressants were ayopped before any surgery.
These are some of the medications which should be taken or avoided before surgeries.
