Answer #1

* Anemia is a disorder characterized by inadequate amount of hemoglobin (a protein

present in the red blood cell)in the blood or unhealthy red blood cells in the blood.

* Vitamin B12(Cyanocobalamine) and Vitamin B9(Folate) are responsible for

vitamin deficiency anemia.

* Because this two vitamins are required for maturation of erythroblasts(premature

red blood cells) to erythrocytes (red blood cells),

* Folate deficiency occurs due to lack of vegetables, fruits in diet,

* Vitamin B12 deficiency occurs due to lack of meat, diary products in diet and gastrointestinal

disorders (eg; chrons disease) or gastrectomy (surgical removal of stomach) which alter

the absorption of vitamin B12 from gastrointestinal tract.

* Vitamin deficiency anemia can controlled by eating a vitamin rich balanced diet and

administration of vitamin B12,Folate supplements.
