For gastric ulcers and GI bleeding the medication randitine can be given and administered. Randitine is a class is a class of medication or drug called as histamine-2 blockers. It works by reducing the acid concentration in the stomach and helps with acid reflux, indigestion, also for GI bleeding and stomach ulcers.

IVPB ramtidine can be given with a dosage of less than 400mg with a pump rate of 0.1 to 0.25 mg/kg/hour. The dosage has to be given IVBP considering the GI bleeding severity and gastric ulcers or acid reflux conditions of the patient health.
