When ranitidine is given as IVPB /infusion it is given at a rate 5to7 ml/minute and usually finished in 15to20minutes.

In the given question the total volume is 100ml.

Flow rate for ranitidine infusion is taken as 5ml /minute.

To finish 100 ml time taken will be 100/5=20minutes.

So the flow rate to be set in hour is 300ml per hour (100 ml in 20 minutes so in 60 minutes that is one hour 300ml)

Infusion is only 100 ml if we set hourly flow rate in an infusion pump we can set as 300ml per hour.
