Nurses have always played a central role in healthcare industry. Nurses stands on the front line when managing infectious diseases.
Nurse practitioner play a key role in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. Nurses through there skilled knowledge and professional training help in treatment and prevention of infectious diseases.
Nurses build a reliable professional relationship with the patient and listens carefully to their problems. The nurses then apply critical thinking and evidence based practice experience to make a sound judgement which help treat infectious diseases, reduce the risk of spread and reduce the disease burden.
The nurse also educates the patient and public regarding practice of safe hygiene like washing hands with soap and water before eating, cooking and everytime after using bathroom.
Nurse also provides education about safe sanitation practices, eating hygienic food and boiling water before drinking.
Nurse practitioner gives their best in managing of infectious diseases and their role is very crucial in healthcare industry.
