Answer #1

Infectious disease is mainly caused by different pathogenic strain of bacteria and virus. There are many reasons which cause decline in the rate of infectious disease. The main reason I think invention and use of different vaccines against deadly diseases seems to be the main cause of reduction of infectious disease frequency. Vaccines was developed in 1796 by Edward Jenner and the Louis Pasteur have popularized it and he have invented so many important and useful vaccines. Use of these vaccines reduce the spread of infectious diseases because vaccines can protect us from infection. Moreover in 1928, first antibiotic was discovered and later on different other antibiotics was discovered. Use of antibiotics against different pathogenic bacteria have also reduced the spread and occurence of infectious disease.
