The introduction of the Public Health Act in the year 1875,it introduced provision of clean water, proper drainage system etc. It also includes the appointment of the medical officer in most of the areas. Slowly the public health concerns leads to increase the awareness among people to take care of themselves, to get the medical facilities available. It also leads to quarantine of the victims of leprosy. The development slowly leads to introduce the healthcare policies.
