Left sided heart failure is resulted from the dysfunction of left ventricle which is accompanied with the problems like prevention of normal, forward blood flow and causing it to to back up into the left atrium and pulmonary veins. And the right sided heart failure is caused due to dysfunction of right ventricle, and there is a backup of blood into the right atrium and venous circulation.
Answer 2. The left sided heart failure causes immediate and sudden shortness of breath.
The right sided heart failure causes occurance of swelling in legs and feet.
Answer 3. The left sided heart failure is the most common or most likely to happen first in a patient where the left ventricle doesn't properly pump blood out to the body.
Answer 4. The left sided heart failure is most likely involved in the swelling(edema) or congestion in the lungs causing sever shortness of breath.
