Sterile means free from bacteria or other living micro organisms like spore, fungi,amoeba etc used to denot the field for surgery and operative procedure areas Sterility is the absence of viable life that has the potential to reproduce and spread dangerous and disease causing germs and bacteria. Non sterile means not free from germs or microorganisms.The surgically clean means items or area for the surgery or any procedure mechanically cleaned or disinfected but not sterile.while clean means free from marks and stains. Aseptic means free from contamination caused by harmful bacteria viruses or othher microorganisms surgically sterile or sterilized.
