cultural plays an important in dietary habits, eventhough some others factors suchas physiological, socioeconmic, biochemical, spiritual playes in the diet. culture consists of values, belief, habits and attituds. each culture adopt their own style of eating habits, selection of food, religious oriented foods.

religious oriented  diet:

the certain caste in the hindhu tries to prefer vegetable foods and avoids non - vegetables. because of harming animals brings bad luck for them. vegetarian oriented food leads to lack of certain vitamins like vitamin B12. because vitamin B12 are derived from the animal products. only. most muslim consume animal products like meat, beef, pork and mostly avoids eating vegatables. the more animal products that the muslim consume brings high cholesterol and high fat in their blood. there is a chance of occurence of cancer by consuming more animal products.

ceremonies

ceremonies are one of cultural value and custom inview of expression of gratitude. traditionally, there were less ceremonies therefore less number of people attented ceremonies because of lack of transport facilities and other factors. nowadays, the ceremonies are increased like birthday, marriages, funerals. most of people are habitated to attending ceremonies. ceremoines where foods are served, have higher calories, high fat diet like meat, ice cream, noodles,and inclusion buffet system can bring a lot of nutritional problem

festivals is one of the cultural values and custom and belief of each religon, nationality, community. because, man is social animal and adjusted to environment where they live and follow traditional practice. during festivals, every one in thecommunity, are habitated to give and receive cookies and sweets and other sweetners. sweet are high calorie food , is shared by everyone because of recognition. on christmas and easter, chrstians consume large amount of meat, sweets, snacks, pastries. muslim on ramzon, bakrith consume large amount of food on account of fasting. they have to fast 8 hrs. in order to stay away from glycemic issues, try to intake more meat on empty stomach.

geography:

hispanic americans try to prefer foods like fried foods, carbonated beverages. there is chance of long term illness like diabetes mellitus, hypertension. in th eparts of middle east and europe, people never prefer fruits and vegatables. meats and animals products are their choice. in pacific island ,people try to bare substinence for total nutritions and also there are some taboos and customs which prevent them to eat high nutrient diet. african american prefer to add fried foods, pork, rice that results higher nutritional effects causessickle cell anemia, hypertension, heart disease,cancer. global transportation causes person to adopt to changes to diet due to prevealence of fast food.

food prepartaion

in some under   developed countries the food prepartion results to add some sand and ashes to diet that has major impact on their health and causes nutritional deficiency. in some communities, consumption of one and only meal per day that has lower nutrient value. in some underdevelped, food is prepared but that food is very tough for mastication. the vigrous mastication of food causes enamel changes causes carries because of low rate of ironic exchange between environment and enamel. developed countries tried to add candies to diet. this practices causes carries and add calories to diet.
