Answer #1

Answer: Physician shortage leads to increase in the healthcare costs this is because, the shortage leads to increase the lack of proper treatment and care provided to the patients. It will also increase the burnout among healthcare professionals those are available. The increase in the work load will directly reduces the work it efficiency. So, the public policy is directly impacted by the less availability of the physicians. This will also increase the physicians fee, the decrease acess to the physicians etc. Hence overall it will elevate the healthcare policy rates too.
