Yes. During the pandemic, physical health was more focused compared to mental health. Mind should be clear and healthy to face any physical illness. But the excessive exposure to media coverage for covid -19 and the fake threats about the disease complications in the social media, loss of job and income, fear of hospitalization and death, loneliness has lead to depression and anxiety. Maintaining regular healthy diet, meditation and positive approach towards life can surely help the individual to overcome fear about the disease and the containment. Avoiding substance abuse and alcohol is very important as the individual is more prone to the disease. Yoga, relaxation exercises, and meditation will definitely ensure a state of equilibrium.
