Health literacy is the ability to obtain, read, understand and use of health care information by the community people to maintain a healthy lifestyle and good productivity for the society.

So, there must need some system level changes of health care system to adopt some health literacy. They are discussed below.

The main attempt to provide health literacy is to improve the skill practices of communication. To provide health teaching to the community people the main stump is communication skill of health care providers. If the interpersonal relationships is form properly with the community people then the health teaching will be effective for the clients.

The another thing is to improve education and economic condition of community people. Then the health care facilities will be easy to access for the common people.

More involvement of the midwives needed for improving health literacy.
