Does your current (or past) organization mostly adhere to the sales concept or the marketing concept? What makes you think so? What actions have they taken that lead you to your opinion?

My organization adheres to marketing concept because of following reasons:-

1. It has sustained interaction with customers.

2. It has long chain or network of satisfied customers.

3. Marketing concept not only covers selling the product it includes activities like research and development, quality control, finance, etc. Our company makes continuous efforts to satisfy customers with all these activities.

They have taken some of the following measures that support my above opinion:-

1. They have invested huge amount in research and development activities.

2. They have adopted TQM concept which focuses more on total quality management.

3. Customer feedback has become a major part of sales process. Feedback forms are reviewed every month by higher sales officials and reported to management.
