In your own words, 2-3 paragraphs, what does it mean to treat equals equally and unequals unequally?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

It mean to treat equals equally and unequal unequally as individuals should be treated the same, unless they differ in ways that are relevant to the situation in which they are involved. Like if one decision has to be taken on regarding of promotion of an employee between two employees and the final decision should be based on merit without introducing any personal bias or favoritism.

the problem which is embedded with the standard definition of justice is determining the criteria morally relevant to distinguish between those who are equal and those who are not.

So while making a decision there should be always possible reaction to considering the the benefits associated without giving any rise to personal bias or favoritism and only those persons are selected who are having a more long-term potential for the company
