we see in many circuit boards important components that are required for such an electronic device, but they also put some resistors, diodes, transistors, and capacitors to make their device efficient.
so how to know if I need resistors, diodes, transistors, or capacitors and where to place them exactly?
I need to know because I have an idea and I'm planning to make my own circuit and my own electronic device.
thank you
Resistors - The basic function of resistor is to limit the current to the safe value so that the components can be safely used.
Diodes - The most common function of a diode is to allow an electric current to pass in one direction (called the diode's forward direction), while blocking it in the opposite direction (the reverse direction). As such, the diode can be viewed as an electronic version of a check valve.
Transistor - It is used to pass charge. It can amplify and switch electrical power and electronic signals.
Capacitors - A capacitor can store electric energy when it is connected to its charging circuit. And when it is disconnected from its charging circuit, it can dissipate that stored energy, so it can be used like a temporary battery.
