This form of therapy has been proved to be very efficient. But it is not devoid of ethical concerns. In this particular case of monkeyhelper.org, monkeys are not domestic animals. They are wild animals captured and tamed to be companions of human beings. Firstly, they are separated from their natural habitat. Monkeys generally form groups and roam around. Here, they are separated from each other and from their families. Everybody is not friendly with monkeys unlike dogs and cats. Some are afraid of monkeys. They will be erratic at times because of their wild nature. This will cause complications in the therapeutic settings.
