Explanation:

Sanctions have not been successful in enforcing compliance with human rights. Iran has been under economic sanctions for a long period of time, and communities in the region are still fighting against each other. The United States government has activated a number of sanctions against Iran, but women and children are still being affected by the war in Iran. Children are living without food because of the conflicts in the region, which is an abuse of human rights. People are also being killed by militant groups in the region, which is another abuse of human rights(D. Kirkpatrick, 2020). Therefore, I am of the idea that economic sanctions have not been successful in enforcing compliance with human rights as they should have.
