Yes it is valid. Schecter and his colleagues collected and analyzed more than 300 samples. They found that every food contained multiple pesticides. DDE was found in 23 out of 31 foods. Bird populations have decreased significantly since there bodies are small - their body burden can quickly reach threshold limits. It kills chicks, destroys eggs or cause deformalities. A 2004 study found that farmed salmon contained 10 times higher levels of POPs than wild salmon.A 2003 report, published by National Academies Press noted feed containing animal fat was full of harmful chemicals.
