Answer #1

The most important part of purposeful performance is the use of the word "with." It is purpose-based performance, not performance and intent, or success or goal. You can not achieve the output unless you concentrate on intent. And you can't fund aim unless you deliver the results. This is an ecosystem which is very closely related. If our portfolio is not transformed we can not maintain results. If we don't get greener than we are now, maybe young people won't be coming to work for us.

You need to be focused on the long term. The idea of relying on short-term earnings alone is a thing of the past. Too many corporations have not done their shareholders justice by simply concentrating on the short term. The world has become much more complicated, and if we put ourselves in the shoes of politicians and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and put themselves in our shoes, the only way companies can function effectively is. We can't have a friendship of adversary.

That's an old idea, but we need to push it to a new level. Half of humanity lives east of the Near East. Simply because they differ culturally, Western models can not be applied to those markets. There are vastly different civilisations. They speak different languages and there are different religious origins among them. Our companies in those markets need to tailor products, business models and local market practices for people.
