Answer #1

For most of the companies corporate social responsibility is just a market trick and at the same time some of the companies really take this seriously and they work towards creating a positive change in the society. So the decision will mainly depend on the company and how serious they are about making a positive change in the society. Every single company should contribute to the society by taking up an issue and proving a solution to it or help the people who are suffering from that social issue. The companies are no doubt investing a lot of money in the CSR but they are doing it just to show that they socially they are very active. They just want to prove to the world that they care. Some of the products manufactured by the companies can pose a serious threat to the customers and also to the society at large so definitely, they need to be responsible in their approach. They need to make sure that they take actions that can reduce the negative impact their actions are causing to the environment and the society. The customers always have the right to question the method followed by the company and ask them to correct the issues associated with it. The companies are also aware of this fact and they still continue to neglect it and just have a business mind. The product used by the customers can have a negative impact on the health and it might affect some animals as well. So a company needs to check how they are impacting the world they live in and what they can do to make that place a better place to live in. The companies that fail to do this will eventually be targeted by the customers and the society for being careless. They end up losing their trust and also the business from them. So CSR is very big part of the company's business strategy and they need to make sure they show some genuine interest in those activities instead of just using it as a marketing trick.
